Family annihilators, or those who kill multiple members of their families are typically men in their 30s. They strike more often on weekends, when they have the most access to their family members and commit the crimes usually as a response to relational, professional, or financial stress.

No matter what reason they think they have, those who kill the people who they are supposed to love and protect the most, are nothing but cowards.

Chris Watts

In one of the most recent cases, Chris Watts wasn’t so much a coward, but a selfish, narcissistic, pile of human garbage. On August 13, 2018, Watts strangled his pregnant wife, Shan’ann to death in their Frederick, Colorado home. He then smothered his two precious little girls, Bella, 4 years old, and Celeste, 3 years old.

Watts loaded up their bodies and took them to the oil storage facility where he worked. He buried Shan’ann in a shallow grave and placed his little girls’ bodies into crude oil tanks.

Shan’ann’s friend and co-worker Nickole became concerned when she missed appointments and didn’t return her texts. She called the police who immediately began an investigation.
