Hi friends! I'm Kassondra and a part-time writer. I typically publish once a week, sometimes more if I have some free time. It's a good thing that I've always taken the road of quality over quanitity. I work full time for a municipality and write whenever my schedule allows. I'm a human-mom and a fur-mom.
I have always been interested in learning and writing down my thoughts on various topics. Eventually, I decided to combine the two so that I could share the information that I would have researched anyway.
I'm a history nut and a true crime fan. I have a BS in Criminal Justice and have worked in law enforcement most of my life. I was a 9-1-1 dispatcher for 17 years and spent most of that time as a trainer and instructor.
Even though I am very much an introvert, my passions always lead me to other people. I NEED to be a helper. I physcially can't sit around and not try to help others, even if it's just sharing information with them.
That's why I love Medium. It allows me to combine all of my passions and connect with like-minded people around the world.
I also LOVE to travel. I love learning about different places and their cultures. Once again, I am drawn to the people. People who live differently from me fascinate me. I have found that I live my life much differently than I did several years ago, simply because of my interactions with people of different cultures and belief systems.
I am by no means a professional writer, but if someone out there enjoys reading what I put out there then it makes the time and effort worth it!
