Amazing story. It does show a certain level of courage to escort the toxicity from your life. I wish I had that courage, but I just haven't been able to dig it up. However, it's almost like a vaccine. You have to have it in small doses to prepare yourself for when it hits you in the face.

P.S. Not saying your friend is a bad person, but that was a super douchy thing to do to you and your son. That person really needs to take a good, long look at themselves.
