Being from Alabama, I am very familiar with the case. I began my career as a 9-1-1 dispatcher in May of 2006. June of that year, I received a 9-1-1 call from a young lady at a local bar explaining that a guy there was bragging to her and her friends that he had killed Natalee and gotten away with it. Naturally, it was investigated but he was found to be just a drunk idiot. I still remember the lump in my throat while taking the call.
