Great article Ellen! I too am a believer in tolerance and acceptance, but feel that it has gotten a bit out of control. The fear of offending someone has caused so many of us to sensor ourselves. We live in a society where finding fault in others and consistently being offended is encouraged. I just read an article by a GNC writer who disliked the fact that CIS persons displayed their pronouns. So, I'm just gonna go with "You're damned if you do, damned if you don't."
