I worked for an agency for 14 years. I gave them my everything. They knew to call on me to get things done. The day I put in my notice, the change in attitude was obvious. I requested an exit interview as they did not. In that meeting, my boss did nothing but berate me with a list of negative things about myself. I always try to ensure that I leave by saying, "Well, if you ever need anything please don't hesitate to let me know." His response, "Oh, I highly doubt we'll ever need anything from you."
