I'm just excited because it will be the first writing competition that I have ever entered. It is giving me specifications (which I like) and forcing me to write outside my comfort zone (personal essays are not my forte). In turn, it will make me a better writer. Money is great, but it's more about the experience for me. I get sooo tired of seeing Medium stories about money. Thanks for sharing this.
