Yesterday, Coley McCraney, who finally had his trial after being arrested in 2019 on charges of capital murder was found guilty.

12 jurors, 6 men and 6 women, deliberated for seven hours after the nine-day trial and came back with a verdict of guilty on four counts of capital murder.

McCraney’s crimes allowed two options for sentencing; life in prison without parole or the death penalty.

Today, McCraney learned what his punishment will be for killing 17-year-old Dothan teens, Tracie Hawlett and J.B. Beasley.
