Thanks for writing this Krishna. Though I was only 11 years old when this occurred, I feel terrible knowing that I had never even heard of this until now. These people are our fellow humans and the world should have stepped up to protect them. I feel like if Americans knew more about the horrendous acts that have been allowed to happen in other countries then they would do what is necessary to prevent anything of that sort from happening here.
