Update to the Plagiarism Report That I Submitted

I previously published a story detailing my first experience of my work being plagiarized here on Medium. I went through the process of notifying the Medium administrators and promised you all that I would update if there was any resolution.

I Just Had to Submit My First Plagiarism Report to Medium

I decided not to call out the offender out because I made a promise to myself to never bash another “writer”, but also because in the event that Medium didn’t step in, I didn’t want the curious to unintentionally generate extra revenue for this person by reading their stories.

Luckily, this was resolved in less than 12 hours. I received a response from Medium last night stating that the account was found to be in violation of the rules and has been suspended.
