This week on “Where in the World?”, we travel back to one of Earth’s natural beauties. We will visit the the largest natural aquarium in the world, as well as check out the area surrounding it and the creatures that call it home.

The Rangiroa Natural Aquarium is located in the Tuamotu Archipelago in Tahiti. Here, you will find the world’s largest collection of coral reefs, with Rangiroa being the largest. The atoll of Rangiroa is the largest in the archipelago and the second-largest in the world.

“Rangiroa” means “endless skies”, which is a perfect description of this Polynesian paradise.

It is famous for its diving, snorkeling, and deep-sea fishing adventures. The crystal clear waters and the stillness of the lagoon make for the perfect opportunity to view the marine life just underneath the surface.
